It looks like the Stargate AI project has got the big tech CEOs more than intrigued. Earlier today, Elon Musk made a comment on X about the new  $500 billion AI infrastructure initiative announced by US president Donald Trump. Musk hinted that there's no money when OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that a $100 billion will be deployed immediately.

The biggest tech companies have joined hands to make this project happen and the first name that pops up is Softbank. It will be responsible for handling the finances of the project. Masoyoshi Son, the head of Softbank is leading the project as the chairman.

When asked about Musk’s remarks, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, whose company has pledged $80 billion to AI development this year using OpenAI models, declined to comment directly. “All I know is, I’m good for my $80 billion,” Nadella said in an interview with CNBC.

Now, Musk in another post on X, said that, "On the other hand, Satya definitely does have the money." In response to Musk's post, Nadella said that "And all this money is not about hyping AI, but is about building useful things for the real world!"
