OnePlus has officially confirmed that its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15, will debut with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. Announced on September 25, 2025, the device is among the first in the world to feature Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset, setting the stage for a new era of performance-driven smartphones.

Speaking about the launch, Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus, highlighted the brand’s longstanding collaboration with Qualcomm, stating that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “delivers the speed, intelligence, and efficiency” OnePlus users demand. Chris Patrick, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Handsets at Qualcomm Technologies, added that the new processor combines the world’s fastest mobile CPU with an advanced GPU and NPU, ensuring breakthrough speed, gaming performance, and intelligent efficiency.
Photography and imaging
The OnePlus 15 will also introduce the company’s self-developed DetailMax Engine, a new imaging system designed to leverage advanced algorithms and processing power to deliver photographs with exceptional clarity and realism. With this, OnePlus aims to push its flagship camera experience further, catering to both enthusiasts and professional users.
Gaming and software experience
