Nothing has confirmed the Phone 3a Lite will land in India on November 27, and the company’s co-founder Akis Evangelidis has hinted at an India-specific variant. Nothing hasn’t shared full details yet, so much of what we expect about the phone comes from the global model and images the brand has released. What is clear from the pictures is that the Indian unit will keep the brand’s signature Glyph Light, though other specs may vary.

From the global launch, the Phone 3a Lite looks like a larger, more affordable take on Nothing’s design language. Reports indicate a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and very high peak brightness — numbers that, if true for India, would make it a bright, smooth display in this price band. The device is also expected to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage, but Nothing has not officially confirmed these figures for the Indian variant.

Camera and battery details circulating online suggest a 50MP main camera supported by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor, with a 16MP selfie camera up front. The phone is reported to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging and an IP54 dust-and-splash rating. Take these with a pinch of salt: they match the global model, but companies sometimes tweak specs for regional versions.

One definite design change for this model is a simplified Glyph Light — a single LED element on the back instead of the multiple strips seen on other Nothing phones. The company says this single light will still handle silent alerts, notifications, camera countdowns and custom call lights, preserving the quirky, recognisable look.
