Nothing is set to unveil its first-ever over-ear headphones on July 1 alongside the Phone 3 smartphone. Ahead of this launch, key details about these headphones have surfaced online, including its design and key specifications.

UK-based smartphone and audio accessories brand Nothing is set to showcase its latest flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, on July 1. Moreover, the company will also introduce its first over-the-ear headphones, aptly named Headphone (1). While Nothing has teased the headphones in the days leading up to the launch, new leaks and a report have revealed the exclusive design and specifications of the Nothing Headphone 1.

According to a report by Android Headlines in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nothing Headphone 1 will come with 40mm dynamic drivers coated with PU and nickel, delivering sound crafted by British audio equipment brand KEF. Further, they will include an eight-band equaliser, adaptive bass enhancement, spatial audio, and on-ear detection for user convenience. Like the company’s previous products, the headphones will incorporate a clear design and soft ear cushion cups.

Moreover, the headphones will offer active noise cancellation (ANC), capable of cancelling up to 42dB of noise. These headphones will also include a transparency mode for ambient awareness. The supported codecs include AAC, SBC, and LDAC, which will be adjustable through the Nothing X app. For connectivity, it could be equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 technology.
