A few days ago, the upcoming Honor Magic 8’s design was officially revealed by the company. However, a new leak has now provided a glimpse of the Magic 8 Pro alongside a glimpse of the MagicOS 10. Moreover, the latest AnTuTu listing of the handset reveals that the device may hand a major defeat for Apple’s newly launched iPhone 17 series.
Honor Magic 8 Pro: Expected design, performance details
Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has shared alleged hands-on images of the upcoming Honor Magic 8 Pro. The handset appears to have a similar design to the standard Magic 8, as it can be seen with a large, circular camera module at the back, which houses the triple camera sensors and an LED flash.
Further, the leak confirms that the handset might have a quad curved screen housing a pill-shaped notch, similar to the Honor Magic 7 Pro. Another image from the post reveals that the handset will have the volume rockers, a power button, and a possible AI button on the right. However, the left frame is completely clean.
Recently, Li Kun, the Flagship Phone Product Manager at Honor Devices, shared the AnTuTu scores of the Magic 8 series, revealing its performance scores. The Honor Magic 8 series, which will likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, achieved a record-breaking 4.16 million points, outscoring the 3.7 million score of the iPhone 17 Pro. Honor has also revealed that the Magic 8 series will have MagicOS 10 on board. The Magic8 Pro will also have a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
