Haier Appliances India has announced the launch of its latest 316 top-load washing machine series featuring Ultra Fresh Air Technology. The all-new Haier 316 top-load washing machine series is an upgraded version of the 306 series, featuring an 8kg capacity, and is specifically designed for large households.
The Haier 316 series 8 kg washing machine comes at an MRP of Rs 28,000. With the newly launched ‘Airfresh’ series of top-load washing machines, Haier India offers a 3-year comprehensive warranty, along with a 12-year warranty specifically for the motor. The latest washing machines are now available at retail stores across the country.
According to Haier, the Ultra Fresh Air Technology ensures that clothes remain fresh and odour-free for up to 8 hours, even when you're busy. The washing machines feature features and technologies like the Oceanus Drum, Magic Filter, Air Dry and Near-Zero Pressure.

- Dedicated Ultra-Fresh Air button
The all-new Haier washing machines include a dedicated DIY button to activate the Ultra Fresh Air Technology, which is claimed to eliminate post-wash odours and keep your clothes fresh. If you forget clothes in the machine, the Ultra Fresh Air Technology automatically activates every 54 minutes for 6 minutes, circulating fresh air to prevent odour and bacterial formation.
2. Air-Dry feature
Haier claims that the Air-Dry feature efficiently removes excess moisture from your clothes by enhancing the drying process, reducing drying time and helping to maintain the quality of your garments.
3. Oceanus drum design
The Haier 'Airfresh' series features a unique drum design that prioritises fabric care through a gentle yet effective washing process. With its Oceanus wave pattern, the drum delicately agitates clothes, offering tender care while minimising wear and tear on fabrics, claims the company.
3. Magic Filter
The Magic Filter is meant to capture lint and dirt, keeping both your laundry and washing machine clean. This advanced filtration system enhances washing performance and prolongs the appliance's lifespan, claims Haier.
4. Near-Zero Pressure technology
For high-rise buildings and households with low water pressure, the new Haier washing machines come equipped with Near-Zero Pressure technology that helps them operate efficiently at water pressures as low as 0.01 MPa, claims Haier.
