Google’s AI push continues as it has introduced a new image editing tool — Whisk — that lets users create visuals not only with text but also by using images. Unlike other tools that require long text descriptions to create images, Whisk uses images as your starting point. Think of it as a creative playground where you can mix and match elements to make something truly unique.

This tool is especially useful for designers who work extensively with images and need to extract and combine elements to create new visuals. Notably, the feature is not available for the Indian users. The feature has currently been rolled out in the US.

Here’s how it works

You can drag in different images — one for your main subject, another for the setting, and a third for the style. Whisk combines these to produce customised visuals, whether it’s a digital plushie, enamel pin, or sticker.
