Google has announced that it has begun rolling out Gemini Live’s camera and screen-sharing features for all Android users with the Gemini app. Previously, these capabilities were restricted to a select group of Gemini Advanced users. However, this shift represents a significant upgrade for free Gemini users, enabling premium features that were earlier restricted under a paywall.

Announcing the feature’s availability via a post on X, Google added, “We’ve been hearing great feedback on Gemini Live with camera and screen share, so we decided to bring it to more people. Starting today and over the coming weeks, we're rolling it out to all Android users with the Gemini app.”

With the screen sharing and camera features on Google’s Gemini Live, users can ask questions, get voice-based guidance, and record and analyze conversations in real time. Further, Gemini users can brainstorm ideas, look up content on their screen, or look up objects around them to better understand their surroundings.
