This major patch features an exciting Naruto Shippuden event, optimizes mechanics in both Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) modes, and streamlines the user interface for a smoother experience.
Naruto Shippuden collab brings new zones and abilities
A centerpiece of this update is the Naruto Shippuden collaboration. During BR matches, players can discover Tsukuyomi loot zones filled with unique ninjutsu skills and ninja tools. Once Tsukuyomi ends, a special airdrop spawns, providing valuable rewards. Players can collect Akatsuki Keepsakes for special abilities—though with the risk of exposing their location on enemy minimaps.
Gamers may align with either Akatsuki or Hidden Leaf Village by interacting with new map symbols, intensifying the rivalry in battle. The Hidden Leaf Village appears in a ruined state within Bermuda, packed with exclusive loot and effects.
Game balance and character updates
Key gameplay adjustments include a revamp of the Gloo Maker, reducing its max capacity but enabling quicker generation and more flexible strategies. The parachute system has been improved for precise landings. Loot distribution is tweaked, with more found in Katulistiwa, Mars Electric, and Pochinok, and less in hotspots like Clock Tower.
Character changes improve balance: new character Rin introduces the Gale of Kunai ability, while Laura, Alvaro, Nairi, Kairos, Sonia, and Santino receive adjustments to increase fairness and skill diversity across encounters.
Weapon and system enhancements
Multiple weapons are buffed or nerfed to maintain competitive integrity. Notably, the AC80 marksman rifle and AN94 assault rifle see performance increases, while the M1917 and FGL-24 get damage reductions.
Other improvements include lower item prices in vending machines, a streamlined HUD with easier customization, and new options for match result sharing. The update launches the Collab system, letting users browse event collections and claim achievements.
