Gearbox Software’s team-based shooter Borderlands 4 recently got a new release date of September 12, which will make it hit the markets earlier. Preorders for the looter shooter are also live now. Borderlands 4 comes in three game editions: Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe. Here are the details on all Borderlands 4 game editions and the pre-order benefits:
Borderlands 4 Standard Edition
The Standard Edition of Borderlands 4 costs $69.99 and includes just the base game.
Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition
The Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 and includes the full base game, Firehawk's Fury Weapon Skin, Bounty Pack Bundle (contains four separate post-launch DLC packs), four unique areas, featuring new missions and unique bosses, four Vault Cards with unique challenges and rewards, new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics and four new vehicles with new cosmetics.
Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition
Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition costs $129.99 and includes all the content of the Deluxe Edition, plus two extra DLC packs: the Ornate Order Pack of cosmetics (available in-game at launch) and the Vault Hunter Pack featuring two Story Packs (available post-launch)
The Ornate Order Pack contains four Vault Hunter Skins, four Vault Hunter Heads and four Vault Hunter Bodies.
The Vault Hunter Pack comes with two new playable Vault Hunters, two new Story Packs, featuring new story and side missions, two new map regions, new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics and new ECHO-4 cosmetics.
Borderlands 4: Pre-order benefits Borderlands 4 is now available for pre-order on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and for pre-purchase on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Pre-purchasing any edition of Borderlands 4 will get you the Gilded Glory digital item pack that contains a Vault Hunter Skin, a Weapon Skin and an ECHO-4 Drone Skin. The Borderlands pre-purchase bonus is only available until launch, after which the Gilded Glory Pack needs to be bought separately.
