Subnautica 2 is being developed by California-based Unknown Worlds Entertainment and will be published by KRAFTON Inc, the South Korean game studio that owns PUBG Corporation. Krafton is also the publisher of BGMI (BattleGrounds Mobile India).

In Subnautica 2, you can build “advanced tools, equipment, and submersibles”. The building system is given an overhaul to help you customise the bases more freely.

Subnautica 2 features “mysterious lifeforms, from the smallest fish to the largest Leviathans”. You can scan them to get information about them and take samples using your Biosampler.

According to the developers, “you’ll need to push beyond your boundaries and unlock the secrets of this strange world” if you wish to survive in Subnautica 2.
Subnautica 2: Platforms and release timeline
Subnautica 2 will launch on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and Xbox in Early Access next year. Subnautica 2 will also hit Xbox Game Pass upon release. The release date of the underwater survival adventure game is yet to be revealed.
