Apple has rolled out iOS 26.0.1, the first bug-fix update for its latest iPhone software. Arriving just two weeks after the public release of iOS 26, the update addresses a range of issues affecting connectivity, photos, and accessibility. Apple is recommending the update for all users.

According to the release notes, iOS 26.0.1 fixes problems where Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections would occasionally drop on the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air. Some users also reported being unable to connect to cellular networks after installing iOS 26, an issue that has now been patched.

The update also tackles camera glitches, with Apple noting that photos captured in certain lighting conditions on the newest iPhones could include unexpected artifacts. A visual bug causing app icons to appear blank when a custom tint was applied has also been resolved. On the accessibility front, a bug that could disable VoiceOver for some users has been fixed.

Despite months of beta testing, it’s common for early adopters of major iOS releases to encounter bugs. With millions of devices now running iOS 26, Apple has gained broader data on issues that only surfaced once the software hit a larger user base.
