'Apka standard kya hai…’: PAK anchor and ex-cricketer quarrel while discussing Mohammed Siraj’s Test credentials - WATCH

The short clip of the video starts with the anchor, Asif Khan, saying that Tanvir Ahmed doesn’t acknowledge Siraj as a Test level bowler. To this, Tanvir Ahmed affirms that yes, doesn’t think that Siraj is a Test level bowler.

Asif Khan shoots back, “What’s your level? Siraj has taken so many wickets against England recently.”

Clearly feeling humiliated, Tanvir Ahmed questioned the standard of Asif Khan, who says that he has 22 years of experience. To which Tanvir Ahmed says that he also has 20 years of experience.

The video then has both of the Pakistanis questioning each other saying, “Aapka kya standard hai, aapka kya standard hai.”

Asif Khan then says, you (Tanvir Ahmed) have played just 5 Test matches, to which the former cricketer says, “I have a big record of playing 5 Test matches.”

For the record, Tanvir Ahmed is a former right-arm fast medium bowler, who played 5 Tests, 2 ODIs and 1 T20I for Pakistan, with best bowling figures of 6/149, 1/38 and 1/13 in the three formats respectively.

In India’s tour of England earlier this year, Siraj played a pivotal role in Shubman Gill-led side finishing the five-Test series level at 2-2. Siraj finished the series as the highest wicket-taker with 23 scalps from 5 Tests, sending down 185.3 relentless overs without missing a Test.
