A burning object in Western Australia’s Pilbara desert, likely space debris, is under investigation by scientists and authorities for its origin.

Scientists are researching a large, burning object discovered in the Pilbara desert, In Western Australia, on October 18. Emergency services were called in after mine workers near Newman noticed the unusual object some 30 kilometres outside of the town.

Origin Possibly from Space

Early observations reveal that it must be a piece of debris in space returning to the atmosphere of the earth. The specialists indicate that it could be a composite-overwrapped pressure vessel or a rocket-tank, which are usually employed on spaceships. The officials of Australian Transport Safety Bureau have said it has nothing to do with any commercial aircraft.
