ISRO has successfully launched BlueBird Block‑2 (BlueBird 6) aboard its LVM3‑M6 “Baahubali” rocket from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Baahubal rocket lifted off at about 08:54–08:55 am (IST) in the morning of 24 December 2025. The launch highlights ISRO’s growing capabilities in heavy-lift missions and commercial space services.

What BlueBird-6 Will Do in Space?
BlueBird 6 is built by AST SpaceMobile and aims to deliver 4G and 5G broadband directly to standard mobile phones. Unlike traditional satellites, it does not rely on ground station relays, linking directly to devices.
