As he wrapped up his 'Off The Record' tour in India, US comedian Trevor Noah on Wednesday thanked his fans for sharing the country's rich history, "delicious cuisine" and "fantastic arguments" with him. The Emmy winner, who cancelled two of his shows in Bengaluru because of problems with the venue, promised that he would return to the city for the "best show ever".

'India. What an experience it was coming and performing in your country for the first time. Thank you for sharing your rich history, your delicious cuisine, and your fantastic arguments with me," Noah wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "Thank you to everyone who came out to the shows in Delhi and Mumbai because you made it truly unforgettable."

And in a special mention to Bengaluru, he added, "Bangalore, our story isn’t done, I’ll be back and next time we’ll make sure it’s the best show ever."

The comedian also shared a few pictures clicked while he was sight-seeing in the country, including one taken in front of the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Trevor Noah's note comes days after he used his experience in Bengaluru as fodder and trolled the city during his shows in Mumbai. The comedian said it was the first time that he had to reach the backstage of a venue -- Manpho Conventional Centre in Manyata Tech Park -- via an alley lined with dogs.
