Pop superstar Taylor Swift declined an invitation to perform at King Charles III’s coronation ceremony in May this year, a new book has revealed. On the day of the coronation in London, Swift was performing at her concert in Nashville, Tennessee.

Swift, 33, is currently holding her expansive "Eras Tour" which has 151 shows across five continents. The hysteria surrounding the singer's ongoing and record-setting world tour has been captured in a filmed version of her concert - "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" – which has been a huge hit among Taylor Swift fans, better known as “Swifties”.

Incidentally, singers Harry Styles, Adele, Robbie Williams and the band Spice Girls too had turned down performing at the coronation concert earlier this year.
