Anchor: Hello and welcome to season 5 of Lessons in Marketing Excellence, I am Pavni Mittal and I am at the oldest Indian Institute of Management located in the city of joy.

In its 52-year long history, IIM-Calcutta has always made it to the list of top B-schools in India. Some of the biggest and best minds have walked these paths and that list includes the likes of Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi, author Amish Tripathi and historian Ramachandra Guha.

Narration: The recent Financial Times rankings of top 70 global business schools ranks IIM-Calcutta first in finance and second in economics. Established in 1961 the institute attracts the best talent pool in the country – a melting pot of academia, industry and research.
