Welcome to CNBC-TV18's Storyboard.

In this edition, CNBC-TV18's Animesh Das examines the impact of the Abbys' super jury's decision to dismiss all complaints and restore the advertising awards that were previously withdrawn while Storyboard editor Anant Rangaswami discusses the Advertising Governing Council's decision with Vikisha Mehta of Guava Creative Solutions and Shormishtha Mukherjee of Rickshaw Advertising. For nearly three weeks now, CNBC-TV18 has been reporting on the mess that followed this year's GoaFest - mudslinging, allegations of scam-advertising and plagiarism that resulted in the withdrawal of eight medals. But, in a cop out, it has decided to not only take no action on these complaints, but also restored awards to BBDO and DDB Mudra. Before we go into how this will impact the industry, The question of how to tackle the issue of plagiarism and scam-advertising remains and has cast a dark cloud on the credibility of the Abbys.
