- After a two month gap to allow for digitisation TAM data will be reported again from next week: As you may know Television Audience Measurement (TAM) data has not been reported for the past eight weeks given the fears of broadcasters that digitisation in the metros may lead to disruptions in TV viewership. Those eight weeks are up and media buyers say that though there has been minimal impact they are looking forward to fresh data from next week. Meanwhile, TAM reports that TV viewing remained stable during the period but the universe of TV homes in four metros that are almost fully digitized has shrunk marginally. Animesh Das reports. - As Gujarat goes to the polls find out how election campaigning has broke new ground in the state: The first phase of polling in Gujarat saw a record 68 percent voter turn out, and the second phase of polling takes place on Monday. While the question seems to be not if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government led by chief minister Narendra Modi will win, but by what margin will it win, one verdict is already in and that's the fact that both the  BJP and Congress have used digital technology and social media to woo voters. Pavni Mittal reports.
