JPC on 2G Scam: Should its hearings be held in public?

Now that the government has agreed to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on 2G spectrum scam, we ask should it hearings be held in public or on camera and how do we ensure that the JPC is not hijacked by small influential cabal or over the influence by its chairman.

Now that the government has agreed to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on 2G spectrum scam, the question arises should its hearings be held in public or on camera and how does one ensure that the JPC is not hijacked by small influential cabal or over the influence by its chairman.

CNBC-TV18's Karan Thapar discusses the issue with the Former Secretary General of Lok Sabha, Subhash Kashyap, Congress Spokesperson and MP, Jayanthi Natarajan, the Founder & Director of PRS Legislative Research, CV Madhukar and Lok Sabha CPI Leader, Gurudas Dasgupta and both Jayanti Natarajan and Gurudas Dasgupta are of course members of the JPC.  For more please watch the accompanying videos.
