The founder of an AI company, who had last week shared on X that he is looking to hire a software engineer in Bengaluru, on Tuesday said that after his post went viral, finding the right candidate has become difficult. Smallest AI founder Sudarshan Kamath said that his inbox has been flooded with emails, and he currently plans to use AI to filter the applications.

"Since the time I put this post, to now, we receive 5-6 resumes every single minute," Kamath shared on X. "While typically I would be happy when a post goes viral, this time I think the purpose for posting this has been defeated. This inbox has become a spam inbox. I plan to run an LLM on it so I can filter out the good ones."

LLM (large language model) is a type of artificial intelligence that uses machine learning to process, understand, and generate human language. It can match resumes to job requirements, automating the candidate matching process.

Kamath's initial post had sparked curiosity on X after he announced a job vacancy for a role that guaranteed a salary of Rs 40 LPA (lakh per annum) and work from the office five days a week and claimed that the candidates' college and their resumes would not determine their worth. The post received close to 4.5 lakh views.
