A recent incident at Jhansi railway station has brought this issue into sharp focus after a dog fell between a moving train and the platform, narrowly escaping what could have been a fatal accident. A video of the moment has since gone viral, sparking intense debate on social media.

The footage, recorded by an onlooker, showed a man trying to board a moving Rajdhani Express train with his golden retriever. As the train gathered speed, the panicked dog resisted, hesitating to jump into the coach. The owner, in his desperation to board, continued pulling the dog’s leash, attempting to lift it onto the train. However, the dog lost its footing, slipping into the narrow gap between the platform and the train, as shocked passengers watched in horror.

Reports indicate that railway officials were alerted, and the train guard activated the emergency chain, allowing railway workers to rescue the animal. Fortunately, both the dog and its owner emerged unscathed, and they were later able to resume their journey on the same train. However, Moneycontrol.com could not independently verify this claim.
