Oppo launches a new variant of A3s with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage

Oppo has updated the budget smartphone with a 4GB RAM variant which is being sold for Rs 9,990.

Oppo has launched a new variant of the Oppo A3s in India. The smartphone was launched last year in India with 2GB/ 3GB RAM variants. Oppo has updated the budget smartphone with a 4GB RAM variant which is being sold for Rs 9,990.

The Oppo A3s comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 * 1520 pixels. The display has a wide notch on top just like the iPhone XS. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Oppo A3s comes with a dual camera setup at the back. It comes with a 13MP primary sensor with an 8MP secondary sensor. The notch houses an 8MP sensor at the front for selfies. The device comes packed with a 4,230 mAh battery and runs on Color OS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM slots, a micro-USB port, and GPS. It is offered in 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB, AND 4GB + 64GB variant.
The Oppo A3s competes directly with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Realme 3, Samsung Galaxy A10 and A20, Galaxy M10. Recently, Oppo launched the A5s in India with a 6.2-inch display that has a water-drop notch. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 processor paired with RAM options of 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB and 32GB and 64GB onboard storage. It comes with a dual camera setup at the back.
