Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh was listed on top of the list of India's top 10 youngest women entrepreneurs, released by IDFC Bank and and Hurun India in December 2023.
Her journey towards becoming a successful entrepreneur, however, has not been easy and has involved taking risks without knowing a lot about the future.
Alagh took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to share lessons learnt by her after stepping out of her comfort zone, which led to her seeking discomfort, facing hardships head-on and letting the tough times be her guide and felt that she became a much more confident, determined and resilient person by moving out of her comfort zone.
"I step out of my comfort zone each time. It led me to: Seeking discomfort Facing them head-on. Letting it be my guide Each time I faced my fear and self-doubt, I became more confident, resilient, and determined," Alagh wrote on the social media platform.
This is not the first instance where Alagh has spoken about how putting herself in uncomfortable situations has helped shape her life and how that has been the fastest way to learn.
In May, Alagh took to social media to share suggestions on the quickest way to learn and indicated that one of the essentials was to keep doing things which one fears the most.
