A viral post on social media is causing a stir after a Delhi residential society issued a notice asking residents to limit the number of online deliveries they receive daily. The notice, dated September 18, from the RWA (Residents’ Welfare Association) of an unnamed society, raised eyebrows after one X user shared it, captioning: “Society presidents are insane! My cousin’s building got a warning for receiving too many parcels in a day.”

The notice, addressed to residents of the society’s F-block, explains that the society's security personnel, who have been helpful in the past by receiving deliveries on behalf of residents, are now overwhelmed by the sheer volume of parcels, especially during the festive season.

The RWA specifically highlighted that bachelors residing in F-block have been getting 10-15 orders daily through platforms like Ajio, Swiggy, and others. The association urged residents to restrict their orders to one or two per day or 'hire a personal security guard' to coordinate with delivery personnel.

The notice states, “The security team has been very helpful in the past by receiving orders on peoples’ behalf, sharing OTPs, and coordinating with delivery personnel, but recently this has been causing them a lot of trouble.” The RWA’s plea comes as parcel volumes spike with the festive season around the corner, burdening security guards further. Split Opinion on Delivery Rules

The post quickly gained traction, amassing over 4,90,000 views and 5,100 likes. Many users jumped into the conversation, with opinions sharply divided.
