While the mud slinging continues between the two outside, there was no love lost between the two on the dias here with both sticking to their field. While Jaitley spoke of competitive federalism, Kejriwal hailed Delhi's odd even policy a success.Mamata Banerjee was seen hard-selling West Bengal to investors here, promising a business friendly environment and availability of land. Some top names from corporate India like Mr Mukesh Ambani, YC Deveshwar and Sajjan Jindal were present at the inaugural session. They shared their experience of working in Bengal and their future plans in the state. However, it wasn't just the corporates. Heavyweights from Modi's A Team – Piyush Goyal, Suresh Prabhu—also made their presence felt, sharing the government's vision with the investors. While camaraderie between TMC and BJP was at display at the summit, the upcoming assembly elections in the state will see the two parties taking each other head on.
