A WhatsApp message detailing a groom's extensive list of requirements for his prospective bride has gone viral, igniting widespread debate on social media. The list, which outlines the man's expectations regarding the bride’s physical appearance, household capabilities, and career choices, has drawn both criticism and support from online users.

The message, which was widely shared on various platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), specified that the groom is seeking a partner with a Body Mass Index (BMI) under 24, who is proficient in all household chores without assistance, and who viewed her job as optional. The groom, reportedly a PhD holder and gold medallist, faced backlash for what many consider outdated and unrealistic expectations.
