The video sparked intense reactions with several social media users calling the meagre payment "exploitation of cheap human labour".

Tagging Blinkit, an Instagram user wrote, "Who's going to take care of your employees who deliver the goods in the blink of an eye. Treat your workers with fairness." While a section of users urged the quick delivery company to pay their delivery executives better, another section encouraged customers to tip them. One Instagram user, however, pointed out: "Please don't blame Blinkit. This business model itself is flawed."
