Apple watches have time-and-again helped in rescuing people from difficult situations. Be it a heart attack or a hit-and-run scenario, the gadget has proved to be a life-saver. Now, the Apple watch is being credited for saving a woman’s life after she was exposed to dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.

Natalie Nasatka, a student from Delaware, US, suffered from symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning at her apartment, CBS News reported. “I was feeling extremely exhausted, my vision was getting blurry,” she said. Luckily, before she passed out from exposure to near-fatal levels of the gas, she was able to reach her Apple Watch and hit SOS -- prompting an emergency call at 911.

The culprit behind the leakage of carbon monoxide was a faulty heater in her room, as per a Gizmochina report. The gas is extremely dangerous and deadly and it is odourless.

Meanwhile, firefighters rushed to Nasatka’s home where they found her lying on the bed. They quickly got her out, saving her life just in time.
