Vivo recently launched the V17 in international markets. The company is now reportedly gearing up for the V17’s India launch sometime next month.
According to 91Mobiles report quoting sources from the company, Vivo V17 could launch in India during the second week of December. The company has scheduled a product training for its employees between November 29 and December 8. The exact date of Vivo V17’s India launch remains unknown.
The source also revealed that Vivo V17 would be priced at Rs 22,000. The smartphone is available in a single 8GB + 128GB storage variant in Russia, and we expect the same for India.
Vivo V17 specifications
On the front, the V17 sports a 6.36-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with 1080 x 2340 resolution and an 83.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. The screen has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 404 PPI density.
Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB memory. Storage can be further expanded via microSD up to 256GB. There is a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging support.
In terms of optics, the V17 packs a diamond-shaped quad-camera module with a 48MP primary sensor. The other three sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Vivo V17 is available in two colours – Blue Fog and Cloud Blue. The smartphone boots on Android 9.0 based on Funtouch 9.2 out-of-the-box.
