Tech Mahindra appoints ex-TCS CMO Rajashree R as chief growth officer for America strategic verticals

Tech Mahindra on January 22 announced that it has appointed former Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) chief marketing officer Rajashree R as its chief growth officer for America strategic verticals. She will be the latest addition to the IT services major’s CEO Mohit Joshi’s ongoing leadership restructuring.

Rajashree took to LinkedIn on January 22 to share the update. She wrote, “Where next" was the question facing me for the past several months—another IT company, smaller, bigger, start-up, software company, etc. I knew, more than anything else, that what mattered to me was a vibrant, dynamic, and agile environment; good people to work with; an opportunity to learn and grow; and, most importantly, the right culture and value system.”

"I found my search ending at Tech Mahindra—an inspiring leadership, a great set of customers, amazing talent, a rich heritage, all on a foundation of great culture. My focus will be on growing Americas - a strategic market for Tech Mahindra,” she added.

Rajashree is a TCS veteran with nearly 20 years of experience with the company, where she held several leadership positions. She stepped down from the CMO role in 2023, following which she continued to work as a vice president at TCS. This was a part of new CEO K Krithivasan’s organisation restructuring plan last year.
