India's regional satellite system, Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) will be supported on Apple's iPhone 15.
Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that India had achieved two milestones with the launch of the iPhone 15, one was the phone is now made in India and the other, the official support for India's autonomous satellite system.

NavIC uses seven satellites connected with a network of ground stations to offer Standard Position Service (SPS) for civilians, and Restricted Service (RS) for official uses.
Both services are provided in L5 and S bands, and cover not only India but 1,500 kms beyond Indian borders. The service can provide user location with an accuracy of 20m, and a timing accuracy of 50ns. NavIC signals are also interoperable using other GPS systems such as Glonass and Galileo.
Apple uses Precision dual-frequency GPS for location tracking along with a digital compass and iBeacon micro-location.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will start at Rs. 79,900 and Rs. 89,900, respectively. They will be available in four colors to choose from, and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage capacities.
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will start at Rs. 1,34,900 and Rs. 1,59,900 respectively. One can have four colors to choose from and up to 1TB of storage space for both models.
