Bengaluru to get non-AC Amrit Bharat train to Malda; Vande Bharat to Coimbatore

Karnataka will get two more Vande Bharat trains on Bengaluru- Coimbatore and Mangaluru- Madgaon routes

Tech capital Bengaluru is set to receive a non-AC Amrit Bharat train to Malda, West Bengal, and a Vande Bharat train to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off two Amrit Bharat trains: Malda-Bengaluru and Delhi-Darbhanga, along with six Vande Bharat trains: Coimbatore-Bengaluru, Mangaluru-Madgaon, Ayodhya-Anand Vihar, New Delhi-Vaishno Devi, Amritsar-New Delhi, and Jalna-Mumbai on December 30.

Modi, who is likely to visit Ayodhya for the inauguration of a new railway station and Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Airport, will inaugurate these trains from there.

This is the first time Bengaluru is getting a non-AC Amrit Bharat, equipped with push and pull technology to enhance average speed and reduce travel time.
