Latest Far Cry 3 patch adds new difficulty and ability to reset outposts

Ubisoft has released a new patch for Far Cry 3 that brings a number of new features to the game. The patch was discussed earlier by the company and is meant to solve quite a number of problems players have been complaining about.The biggest change in the single-player component of the game is the ability to reset enemy outposts. Capturing outposts by killing all the pirates or privateers occupying it is a major part of the game, and a lot of the game’s challenge is lost when you take an outpost, as doing so stops any enemies from spawning in that zone.However, this patch fixes that. After conquering all the outposts and completing the game, you can reset the outposts by selecting “Reset Outposts” in the gameplay options menu. Doing this will reset and make all Outposts hostile again, and all incomplete side missions and quests will be hidden. In order to finish the incomplete side missions, you will have to retake the outposts again.Another major change is the addition of a new difficulty level—Master.
