Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several developmental projects in Bihar's Gaya.

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched several projects worth around Rs 13,000 crore, including the Rs 6,880-crore Buxar thermal power plant, from Bihar's Gaya district on Friday.

Before inaugurating these projects, PM Modi also held a roadshow in the city, accompanied by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, ANI reported.

Power plant to boost energy security, demand supply

Strengthening the power sector infrastructure in Bihar, the Prime Minister inaugurated Buxar Thermal Power Plant (660x1 MW) worth around Rs 6,880 crore. It will significantly enhance power generation capacity, improve energy security, and meet the growing electricity demand of the region.
