Stay away from real estate sector: Varun Goel

Varun Goel of Motilal Oswal Asset Management told CNBC-TV18, "We have been very careful about the prospects of real estate companies for a long time now. There is definite concern as far as the volume growth is concerned in this industry. To the exception of few cities in south, maybe Bangalore and Hyderabad most of the country continues to see very tepid sales growth.""Also, we believe that most of the companies have very levered balance sheets. So, for the sector as a whole we would like to stay away," he added.
