Naveen Kulkarni, co-head, research at Phillip Capital told CNBC-TV18, "In the banking space we are still positive on Axis Bank and State Bank of India (SBI) and also the largest weight in our banking space is ICICI Bank. So, these three are our picks in the banking space. We are still fairly positive on the large names in the banking space."

At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.63. The dividend yield of the company was 1.18 percent.
