Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "Public sector undertaking (PSU) stocks are doing well and also commodities and metals. So Vedanta is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 237, target of Rs 254.Kotak Mahindra Bank is also a buy with a stop loss of Rs 730, target of Rs 756. GAIL India is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 460, look for targets of Rs 485.""Hindustan Unilever (HUL) looks the best, the market probably does not expect too much impact of demonetisation etc. Asian Paints overall, since crude is now on the other side of Asian Paints is going to underperform, Bharti Infratel is again an underperformer. So the one stock you want to buy in this situation is probably HUL and at some point we should see Rs 890-900 on the stock," he siad."United Spirits has bottomed out, so that is something that people should look at buying even around these levels because it is likely to cross its 200-DMA at Rs 2,400 shortly.""We are expecting Rs 525-530 on HPCL and similarly for IOC and BPCL. In fact, all of these PSU groups right from PTC India to CONCOR - all of these stocks like BEL and BEML have started fresh rallies today. So, probably till the Budget, PSU stocks could outperform.""Once we cross the issue price on ICICI Prudential, what happens is now nobody is losing in that stock and hence the supply tends to get withdrawn and something like ICICI Pru where institutions are trying to buy, it can run up fairly quickly. So, I won’t be surprised if you get Rs 420-425 on the stock. It is probably a bit under-owned. So as institutions, etc build their positions, chances are this will continue to hold and even move higher."
