Anand Tandon, CEO of JRG Securities told CNBC-TV18, "I think we should sellout on Hindustan Unilever (HUL), the valuations are too high. And unless one is a great bull on inflation continuing to remain very high it is very unlikely that HUL can generate the kind of returns that it has in the recent past in terms of performance. And also the valuations are so expensive that it simply does not justify not selling."
"Any other stake sale will actually get postponed because I don't know whether there is enough money in the system right now to take fresh issue of capital. One will find that like NTPC pulled their bond issue a little while back. One may find some of the equity sales also maybe postponed unless ofcourse the government institutions come in and provide the support," Tandon said.
