Venkatesh B, equity analyst at Citi India told CNBC-TV18, "We have a neutral on Larsen and Toubro (L&T) and Crompton Greaves. We currently have a sell on Voltas. We don't see any point in getting too bullish about these companies over the next six-nine months. Investors could come back and revisit their thesis just before election results next year because if one takes a call that one of the two main parties have a majority, then there could definitely be a spike up in the stocks post elections."
Venkatesh further added, "One can take a call in terms of what you need to do with this sector a few months before election results are announced. Till then it is better if one doesn’t get very excited. You cannot completely sell everything and get out. There are a few stocks which you can still continue to be in. Amongst those L&T, Cummins and Havells could rate the topmost on a relative basis though we have neutrals on all the three of them."Discover the latest Business News, Sensex, and Nifty updates.
