Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "There are long trades in IT stocks. Some of them are giving a minor dip and that minor dip is a buying opportunity. We had suggested Wipro and that remains a buy."
"There are a lot of short selling candidates but I don't know whether it is wise to sell after a 130 point dip in the Nifty. You have to wait. Lot of money is made by being patient not by being impatient," he added.
At 13:05 hrs Wipro was quoting at Rs 347.35, up Rs 4.30, or 1.25 percent.It has touched an intraday high of Rs 348.10 and an intraday low of Rs 341.10.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 462.85 and 52-week low Rs 315.30 on 05 April, 2013 and 31 May, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 24.95 percent below its 52-week high and 10.16 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 85,572.97 crore.
