Buy Tata Motors, NHPC, Berger Paints, IRB Infra: Jain

One may go long on IRB Infrastructure Developers. The cash flow from existing toll projects are good and all in all if the market stabilizes this stock could give decent short-term return, says Pankaj Jain of Sunteck Welathmax.

In CNBC-TV18's popular show Bull's Eye, Pankaj Jain of Sunteck Welathmax shares his trading strategies for the day.

One may go long on Tata Motors. The stock yesterday was up by 10 percent after very strong performance by JLR. The zone of Rs 280-335 has been broken for the first time after a long period. It is in an uncharted short term territory and the stock would steadily move upwards in current environment even from current levels. One may go long on NHPC. The stock has reconsolidated around Rs 15-16 levels. There are some reports, some rumors in the market that the company may be thinking of some kind of buy back. Valuations at current rate seem to be very attractive and the stock closed with a very positive kind of momentum and giving some signals of fresh breakout. Taking that into consideration we have gone long on NHPC for the day. One may go long on Berger Paints. Serious cooling of crude oil prices positively affects all these paint related companies and we have seen that in yesterday's trading. Apart from that the upcoming festivals season, most of these paint related stocks tend to perform well. Also fundamentally performance of Berger Paints has been good for the last 3-4 quarters. There is not reason why the performance would not continue to be good. Technically, the stock showed signs of carry forward positive momentum. One may go long on IRB Infrastructure Developers. The kind of closing this stock has shown in yesterday's closing, almost closing at day's high shows that this is one of the better infra construction related stocks. They have got some good BOT road projects in hand. The cash flow from existing toll projects are good and all in all if the market stabilizes this stock could give decent short-term return. The kind of closing that was seen yesterday, we believe that that stock is headed another 5-7 percent on the upside in today's trading.
