LIC Housing a good pick, says PN Vijay

LIC Housing is a good pick among midcap, says PN Vijay, Portfolio Manager, www.askpnvijay.com.

Vijay told CNBC-TV18, “LIC Housing clearly because there I think the risk is very little. They have been improving their net interest margins (NIM) and they have been hitting the mid market in homes which is where the solid action is.”
He further added, “If you see the way they have got their funding done and got their NIMs slowly up – close to HDFC levels it is a very good story. The parent is good so in a time when people are getting very scared about midcap stocks this is good midcap stock which one can do a pre-result buying.”
