Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “In the morning Wipro was in our list as a short-sell and that trade continues. Wipro is now breaking down and has probably become the weakest of the four IT majors. That is working out and I think that trade in Wipro is to go short on any rallies because much lower levels are coming.”
He further added, “HDFC is now willing to go up. If we see a move in the Nifty, a next upleg, I think HDFC would participate. The period during which it was a little dormant is probably getting over. So I am upbeat on HDFC, it has already rallied fairly well from Rs 600-680 and at Rs 700 there is that threshold of resistance. Once it crosses that level, a big move can be expected. So I would be upbeat on it.”
