More than 95 percent of a plotted development project in east Bengaluru, developed by TVS Emerald, a subsidiary of TVS Holdings Ltd, was sold out on the first day for a sale value of Rs 169 crore, the company said on October 3.
Out of the total 461 plots in the project named The Estate, located on Bagalur near Sarjapur Road, 442 were sold out.
The plot sizes range from 500 square feet to over 5,000 sq ft in size and are priced from Rs 17.49 lakh onwards.
The development comprises three phases: Swargam, Aaranyam, and Mandalam, with a 15,000-sq-ft clubhouse.
"The demand for plotted projects has always been strong, as homebuyers are continuously seeking ways to shape their dream homes. Additionally, many families are looking to escape the congestion of cities and embrace a more serene lifestyle in spacious homes," Sriram Iyer, Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TVS Emerald, said.
In July, the company opened the sale of 662 housing units in Chennai worth Rs 600 crore. The project, called TVS Emerald Elements, is located in Kovilambakkam, Chennai, and comprises 820 homes. They will be worth approximately Rs 800 crore by 2027, the company added.
