Market has priced in US Fed maintaining rates: Expert

The market seems to have priced in the fact that the Federal Reserve will not hike interest rates next week, says Ashwani Gujral, Market Expert, ashwanigujral.com. He adds that next week's market open will depend on global cues.There is no expectation of a rate hike from Federal Reserve, says Anand Tandon, Market Expert, Independent Market Analysts.The Nifty ended in green gaining 37 points at 8,779 after seeing alot of volatility with more than 100 points of intra-day swings.Markets will remain volatile for some more days and will move sideways, says Gujral.Varun Goel, Motilal Oswal, says the housing finance sector is doing well. Also, the increase in pay from the 7th Pay Commission will be factored in soon. This is going to help the consumer durables sector and the auto and auto ancillaries sectors as well.Goel also likes the agro chems segment whose sales will do better owing to good monsoons in the starting months of the season.Watch video for more...
