Ritesh Presswalamoneycontrol.comOne of the biggest challenges for investors in equity markets is where to invest rather than how much to invest. And very often there is also the question as to why they choose to buy into or sell a particular stock.  A Moneycontrol survey picks stocks in which foreign instituitional investors (FIIs) and mutual funds (MFs) have been continuously increasing and offloading their stake in the last five quarters.While 47 companies have seen an increase in stake by FIIs, 80 companies have witnessed an uptick in stake by mutual funds.Interestingly, in the list under review, there have been companies where both FIIs and MFs have invested: Future Enterprises, Sonata Software, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) and Glaxosmith Pharma. On the flipside, FIIs cut down their holding in 84 companies and MFs reduced exposure to 29 companies. Both sets of investors have been shedding their stake in JK Tyre and Industries.
