Surviving in this bad weather has not been easy. While some lost strength, others were bold and strong to face it. Experts though feel that the pain is here to last but many see valuation in this downturn too.
Emil Wolter, Head of Regional Asian Equity Strategist, RBS feels that valuation in Asia is looking attractive. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, he said that telecom and domestic banks look the best now for investment. Wolter suggested buying companies with strong balance sheets.
Meanwhile, as all eyes are set are on the Federal Reserve's announcement on Friday, Wolter is little less hopeful on it. He explained, "Markets not yet at such significant lower levels that Fed would justify intervention. It's probably reasonable to expect that policy responds at some juncture but the economic data has been a bit mixed off late and the markets are weak but not weak enough so probably nothing is expected."
