See funds switching from fixed income to equities: Expert

Tim Ghriskey, CIO, Solaris Asset Management shares his views on the day's Wall Street action. He says that cash is being moved out of money market and out of fixed income into equities, that trend does not tend to reverse easily.

Tim Ghriskey, CIO, Solaris Asset Management believes that funds are being being moved out of money market and fixed income into equities and this trend is unlikely to reverse easily.

"We expect continuous flow of capital from those asset classes into stocks over the coming months," he adds. Investors can park their funds in gold if they are worried about geopolitical issues. "The strength in the dollar, which has driven the decline in gold, is a little bit flat here and perhaps that is also causing some buying in gold down at these levels".
